SWALIM project has been awarded WSIS Prize Champions in the category of “E-Agriculture” for 2016. This is a very important recognition of the innovative work that SWALIM has carried out in making the most of modern digital technologies in a developing country context. SWALIM joins 5 other projects in this category and 88 projects overall that have been named “Champions”. We are very pleased to inform you that the WSIS Prize Winners and the winning projects for 2016 will be announced live during the WSIS Prize Ceremony on 3 May at the WSIS Forum 2016.The WSIS Champion certificate and trophy will be awarded on Wednesday 4th May 2016 during special ceremony at the Knowledge Café in Geneva, Switzerland.
